The monastery of "Panagia tis Vrysi" or "Uperagia Theotokou Vrysi" or "Kyria Vrysiani" or "Birth of the Virgin in Vrysi" was built in the 17th century and is located near the village of Exampela. The Monastery houses the Museum of Ecclesiastical Art.
