The White Tower is a fortified tower from the 15th century, which was later used as a Janissary garrison and as a death row prison. It was built on the site of a pre-existing Byzantine tower, which connected the eastern part of the fortifications of Thessaloniki, which is still preserved today, with the sea wall, which was demolished in 1866.
The exhibition includes sculptures, wall paintings, floor mosaics, wall mosaics, images, coins, inscriptions, ceramics, glass works, metal works.
