The Historical and Ethnological Museum of Mani is housed in the historical Tzannetaki tower, located on the picturesque island of Kranai (Marathonisi), which today is connected by a jetty to the land opposite.
In this islet, according to mythology, Paris and Helen the Fair found refuge before they left for Troy.
On the islet of Kranai is the Tower of the leader of the Revolution of 19821 Tzannetakis Grigorakis where since 1993 the exhibition organized by the National Research Foundation entitled "Travelers in Mani 15th - 19th century" has been hosted.
