The Archaeological Collection is located in the center of Megalopolis.
It was founded in 1987 and includes architectural members, inscriptions and sherds found in the archaeological site of Megalopolis. Also, objects from the Hellenistic and Roman times, found in the lignite mines of Megalopolis.
The Museum is planned to be relocated to a traditional building of the city and take the form of a hyperlocal Museum.
