REPTILES MUSEUM - Pella

The second flour mill of the Outdoor Water Museum of Edessa is the mill - sesame mill, formerly owned by Giannakis, which, preserved today, houses the Aquarium and also the Herpetarium (Reptile Museum) of the Municipality of Edessa.

The stone rectangular shell (without the roof) and part of the mechanical equipment have been preserved from the original water-powered workshop.

With the care of the biologist Mr. Boskus A., many species of the fish fauna of the area live in the large glasses as well as amphibians and a wide variety of reptiles.

In particular, the reptiles are extremely impressive and excite young and old alike.
