It is located next to St. Dimitrios and belongs to the Municipal Cultural Organization of Naoussa, while the Hellenic High School of Naoussa contributed significantly to its enrichment.
The purpose of the museum is the preservation of the city's relics and the transmission of history and tradition to the younger generations.
It is housed in one of the oldest buildings in the city (dated 1842), a masterpiece of traditional architecture.
On the ground floor of the museum you will see the loom and the tools of Naousaiki home weaving. Various household utensils are also on display.
On the first floor you will see the creature with all the furniture, textiles and utensils that characterize it. The fireplace with all the essentials, the sitting areas next to the fireplace and the sofra, a low table where the family ate.
The chest where they put the clothes, dolls with local costumes and a little further down the good nonda (the reception room) with the brazier in the middle and decorated with handmade carpets, woven and embroidered.
You will also admire in the museum many authentic traditional costumes of Naoussa, among them the bride's stands out, as well as the costumes of Boula and Janissaro from the famous traditional event of the Carnival.
Next is the dining room and then, in the last room, weapons and swords from 1821, the Macedonian struggle and World War I are exhibited as well as costumes and armaments of warlords and fighters who fought for the freedom of Macedonia.
