The museum includes a large collection of Cretan art icons and a collection of folk icons. Among the most representative examples are: a portable icon of Michael the Archangel (Andrea Ritzou, second half of the 15th century), a portable icon of the Virgin enthroned with a baby, a portable icon of Hypapanti (end of the 16th century).
