The small Folklore Museum of Chalkis is located behind the Town Hall and is housed in the hall of the Greek High School.
Its exhibits include traditional Chalkite clothing, a bridal bed made with traditional woven embroidered sheets, old furniture and utensils.
The museum also exhibits a few ancient finds, such as amphorae from a shipwreck and part of a relief column.
