In the place of Rodaki, south of the village of Vournikas, is located the destroyed Monastery of Agios Ioannis Theologus. It was built in 1654 on the ruins of the Doric temple of the goddess Demeter. In the area of the walled monastery, remains of the ancient sanctuary can be seen, such as the paved floor and Doric capitals. At the end of the 18th century, the Monastery was annexed to the Monastery of Asomatos Vaukeris. The church of St. John the Theologian, recently renovated, is rectangular, with a sloping roof and a small bell tower on its side. Inside the church, on the sacred Vima and on the eastern wall of the catholicon, fragments of high-style frescoes are preserved in good condition. The temple celebrates on May 8.
