The Monastery of Megali Panagia, or Monastery of Panagia of the five houses, is located near the settlement of Koumaradai, at an altitude of 225 meters. It has a beautiful view towards the plain of Chora and Pythagorion and is dedicated to the Dormition of the Virgin. It has a wood-carved iconostasis, many interesting frescoes and sacred utensils.
