At a distance of 20 km from the Trikala Gate is the Ski Center Petriliou, which is suitable for skiing several months of the year. It has 3 tracks of various levels of difficulty, equipment rental shops, as well as two hostels. In the surrounding meadows one can engage in snowrafting.

Mountain biking is the right choice. On the forest roads around the Pertouli meadows and on the forest road from the Tziatzia pass to Korp. An also interesting and easy route is the one along the valley of the Kamniaitikos river, up to the village of Pyrra.
The exciting sport of climbing Meteor Rocks and Red Rock in Elati, under the supervision of experienced instructors.

Another activity option is Canoe kayaking in Acheloos, Kalikiotis and Kamniaitis, while the artificial lake Logos offers the possibility of lake canoeing. Also, in Acheloos, the sections from the Alexiou bridge to the Mesochora dam and from Tria Potamia to the Alexiou bridge will satisfy rafting enthusiasts.
Finally, 4X4 jeep tours offer the possibility of an easy and safe tour of the Pindos area, between dense forests, alpine landscapes and difficult forest roads.
