The passage of migratory birds can be observed from the Ornithological Station, the first to be established in Greece. The Antikythera Ornithological Station (OSA) operates for the purpose of studying bird migration and is an important activity of the Hellenic Ornithological Society, with the support of the Antikythera Community and the kind sponsorship of the Leventis Foundation.
