The capital of Ikaria and its largest port is Agios Kyrikos in the south of the island. It is built amphitheatrically and has many notable neoclassical features. Here you can see the Cathedral and Saint Demetrius with the hidden hatch in the Sanctuary. Further away, in Therma, are the famous radioactive springs of the island and the ruins of ancient Drakanos.

The northern part of Ikaria has wild nature and many sandy beaches with clear seas such as Messakhti. Here, the picturesque Evdilos is one of the most beautiful villages, green and picturesque. Second port of the island, stands out for the Byzantine castle of Nikaria. The ruins of ancient Oinoi and the Palaces that were Byzantine mansions are important attractions of the wider area, while Armenistis in the west is famous for the Chalari gorge and the temple of Artemis

On your tours, it is also worth seeing the Monastery of Evangelistria, the Monastery of Moude, the Monastery of Theoktistis, the archaeological and folklore museum and the Round Tower of the Lighthouse.
