Southwest of the village of Valtecsiniko, on the Paleokastro hill, there is a small fort from which remains of a tower and fortification have been preserved.
The largest part of the castle today is in ruins. This castle predates the Franks. When the possessions of Moria were divided, it was given to the Barony of Akova.
