Important settlement of the end of the Neolithic (4500 - 3200 BC) and the Bronze Age (3200 - 1100 BC), on a hill opposite Volos. Residential remains of rectangular buildings with stone foundations and clay floors, hearths and storage areas. Clear indications of intensive foreign relations. Cemetery of Mycenaean chambered tombs (c. 1500 - 1400 BC).
