The theater of the Aeges is part of the unified architectural ensemble of the palaces and is located just 60 m. to their north.
The first row of pews, the drainage kennels, the walls of the aisles and the foundations of the stage were made of greyish stone. On the smooth slope of the small slope was formed the hollow which consisted of wooden benches and eight stone-paved corridors.
Euripides' Bacchus was presented in the theatre, whose construction dates back to the second half of the 4th century and which was used until the second quarter of the 2nd century BC.
In the theater of the Aeges, during the wedding ceremony of Cleopatra's daughter with the king of Epirus, Alexander, Philip was assassinated (336 BC).
