Perati
Extensive cemetery of chambered tombs of the late Mycenaean period (1200 - 1100 BC). The majority of the dead had been buried, but cremations were also found. The numerous finds testify to an extensive network of contacts with Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean centers. Important local ceramic workshop producing mainly false-mouthed amphorae with rich figurative decoration. The findings are exhibited at the Vravrona and National Archaeological Museums.
