LOCATION TOMB OF THE ATHENIANS

On the same route and at a distance of 4.8 km from the Museum is the world-famous Tomb of the Athenians, which covered the 192 dead after the Greek victory against the Persians in 490 BC.

A copy of the Trophy erected by the Athenians after the battle is located at Mesosporitissa.
