VRANAS - MIDHELLENIC TOMBS
Right next to the site of the Marathon Museum is the Middle Helladic cemetery (2000 BC - 3000 BC) which includes a cluster of 3 burial mounds and is protected (from the weather) with a new state-of-the-art roof (2004).
Another 4 mounds are outside the shelter.
