It is an islet almost connected to the coast as it is only 100m away. from it and one can approach it by walking through the sea. Elafonissi is 76 km from Chania and 43 from Kasteli. Here one comes to admire the amazing sandy beaches with dunes and white sand and to swim in the unique crystal waters in all of Crete. Although the natural beauty attracts plenty of visitors, the area does not have developed tourist infrastructure. Elafonissi is one of the most popular beaches in Crete.
