The Grand Master's Palace is located at the highest point of the Old Town of Rhodes. It is probably the most important attraction of the Medieval City with many historical elements. The site was first used as an acropolis in the 7th century AD, by the Byzantines, while in the 14th century, it was used by the Knights of the Order of Saint John who occupied the island, as an administrative center and as the residence of the Grand Master . This building has a very long history and is one of the most interesting sights that every visitor should visit.
