The "Skouteri Mansion - Donation of Vasiliki Skouteri-Dintsoglou" was built at the end of the 19th century, combining the domestic building techniques with the frescoes of European origin in the upstairs areas. It belongs to the "second" generation of Komotini mansions characterized by their simple neoclassical style. The residence presents the typical internal arrangement of spaces of a Thracian town house: on the ground floor are the reception areas (living room, dining room, sitting room) and the kitchen, while on the first floor are the private rooms of the family. The wall paintings of the floor are among the few examples that have been saved, although they were found in most urban and metropolitan houses.
This building houses the Municipal Museum which represents the residence of a middle-class family at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.
