The Ecclesiastical Museum of the Holy Metropolis of Alexandroupolis houses the collection of ecclesiastical objects gathered from the churches and monasteries of the ecclesiastical province of the relevant metropolis. The main volume of the works dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries. There are few exhibits, mainly antiques and a few portable icons, dating from the 15th-16th-17th centuries.

The Ecclesiastical Museum of Alexandroupolis is housed in the Leontarideio school, which is next to the Metropolis. The portable images form the core of the museum's collection and at the same time the most important and largest part of it and represent every category. There are tableau icons (despotic, dodecahorto, apostolic), adoration icons (intended for the wall or for a special shrine) and icons of various sizes for private devotional use. The collection also includes triptychs, single sheets of triptychs, a wood-carved altarpiece cross, two litany Crucifixes, a picture depicting an Epitaph of Lament, two Lamentations, and a wooden prepositional diptych.
