In Gytheio, in the neoclassical building of the Town Hall, a representative ancient Greek and Byzantine collection is housed, which includes findings from excavations in the area of Gytheio and Mani. The museum's collection includes marble sarcophagi with rich sculptural decoration, relief ossuary, engraved inscriptions, ceramics and sculptures of the Roman times, etc.
