In the picturesque village of Panagia, in a beautiful and simple stone building, which in the past served as the village laundry, there is an interesting folklore museum that has been operating since September 1999. A creation of the Association of Panagiots everywhere, the folklore museum of Panagias gives a tangible
picture of the life of a mountainous Arcadian village, telling, through the exhibits, the history of Panagia but also of the wider region. It includes objects and tools of daily life, traditional crops, weapons from the 21st revolution, textiles, etc.
Exhibits also include the blacksmith's furnace, cauldron, barber shop, household items, tools, loom, plow, old weapons, textiles, old photographs and more. Many of the exhibits date from the 19th century, while all were in use until the mid-20th century. The visitor can touch the exhibits as well as operate them.
