ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF ASTROS - Arcadia

The Astros Archaeological Museum is located in the Mediterranean Astros. It is housed in the building of the former school of Karytsiotis, next to the place where the Second National Assembly of the Revolting Greeks took place, in 1821.
It includes important finds and a collection of marble inscriptions from the mansion of Herodes Atticus in Loukos of Kynouria, finds from the area of ​​ancient Thyrea as well as objects from the classical and Hellenistic periods. In the courtyard of the museum are exhibited members from the mansion of Herodes Atticus.
