The Nafplion Art Gallery, the first Art Gallery of the Peloponnese, was founded in 1987 by Maria Gouma. In the 21 years of its presence, individual and group exhibitions of painting, sculpture, ceramics and photography were held. In addition, from the first year of its operation, workshops for children were created and musical events took place. The Art Gallery has a small shop with art objects, as well as an important photographic archive. At the same time, he has also created ATN publications. The cultural contribution of the Nafplion Art Gallery to the city is great, as it brought and brings the public of the region into contact with the artistic development of the Greek and European space.
