It was founded in 1972 and is housed in a modern three-story building (6,500 sq.m.) with different levels located on the north side of the Campus. The main collection, which includes works by Greek and European artists of the 19th and 20th centuries (oil paintings, sculptures, drawings), is a donation of Nestor and Aliki Telloglou to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. There are also works from various cultures such as figurines and vases (Hellenistic, Roman era), works of Chinese art, Persian miniatures, Thai wood carvings as well as the ceramic works of P. Valsamakis. The collection was enriched with donations from the Spiteris couple, G. Mourelos, Dim. Chamis as well as other artists. The Foundation has a fully equipped conference center with a capacity of 230 seats.
