It was recently created on the ground floor and 3 floors of the White Tower of Thessaloniki and operates under the supervision of the Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities. It includes remarkable exhibits dating back to 400 AD. until 1430 AD, when Thessaloniki fell to the Turks. The most important are: the development of the walls of Thessaloniki and its various fortifications, models of main types of temples with elements of their decoration (capitals, mosaics, objects of worship, etc.), frescoes, tombstones, burial gifts, sculptures, pictures, vases, jewelry, maps, etc.
