The Folklore Museum of Elatochori is housed in an appropriately designed hall of the Cultural Center.
The Folklore collection includes various exhibits and objects from the daily life of the inhabitants in earlier times, while it is organized in thematic sections: household utensils, useful objects, tools.
All the exhibits are authentic, some are valuable family heirlooms donated to enrich the collection, and it is remarkable that everything is well preserved and beautifully arranged.
Thus, the visitor can perceive that daily life in Elatochori used to be characterized by austerity and will certainly admire the ingenuity of the residents who were obliged to meet their needs by creating various objects, utilitarian or decorative, with great imagination and passion.
