The Archaeological Museum of Dion is located inside the modern settlement of Dion, at a distance of 500 m from the entrance of the archaeological site.
The Archaeological Museum, built in 1983, houses the movable findings of the excavations. It is located in the modern settlement of Dion, at a distance of 500 m from the entrance of the archaeological site. The findings of the excavations are displayed in sections corresponding to the place where they were found (public buildings, urban center, sanctuaries, cemeteries, etc.)
The floor also hosts indicative findings from the excavations in ancient Pydna and other sites of archaeological interest in Pieria.
In the basement of the museum there is an educational exhibition on "Daily life in ancient Dion".
In a specially designed room, audiovisual material related to the ancient Dion and Olympus are shown.
