In 1979, the Natural History Museum was founded, which is co-located in a four-story building with the Historical-Folklore Museum. The permanent exhibition is presented in the underground area of the Museum in 350 sq.m. and covers the time period from the Paleolithic era (70,000,000 years BC) up to modern times. The Collection includes stuffed animals (deer, deer, fox, bear...) and birds (snipes, kingfishers, starlings, finch...), plants (medicinal and aromatic), fossils (trunks, tree leaves, marine species) and mineral rocks. A small cave with stalactites and stalagmites is also preserved. Through the exhibits, a miniature representation of the world of nature and its historical development is attempted. The ultimate goal of the exhibition is to raise public awareness, educate young people and cultivate ecological awareness.
