The Natural History Museum is located in Paranesti, Drama. The museum is aimed at both children and adults and provides rich information about the geomorphological features of the place. Animals that one meets in the Rhodopes mountain range, such as wolves, wild boars, bears and many others, give the image of the rich fauna in the area. In the Rhodope Natural History Museum there are also exhibits related to the impressive natural environment of the Rhodope and the Nestos Valley. You will also learn about the geology, rocks and fossils of the area, the flora and vegetation of the Rhodopes. The museum facilities are approximately 300 sq.m. and its exhibits are designed according to modern museological trends. Particularly impressive are the 3D representations of the biotopes of the area.
