The Folklore Museum of Serifos is located in Kato Chora and is housed in a building of traditional architecture. It was established in 1976 and is owned by the Sheriffs Association. In its premises are kept objects of the daily life of Serifia, most of which are donations from the residents themselves. The museum's exhibits include textiles, ceramics, porcelain, household utensils and tools, local costumes and other items, while there is also a representation of a traditional Serifio house. Also in a separate room there is a collection of rocks and semi-precious stones of the rich land of Serifos.
In the back area of the Museum there is a small open-air theater with 300 seats in which spiritual and artistic events take place.
