The Folklore Museum of Santorini is housed in a building from 1861, inside a rock, in Kontochori Fira. The visitor can get in touch with the professional habits of the locals and see workplaces up close, such as coopers, carpenters' workshops, old shoemakers' workshops, blacksmiths' workshops as well as an authentic old winery. There is also a gallery with works by local artists as well as various Lithographs, Manuscripts and important books of Santorini.
