The "castle house", which is considered the oldest building on the island, is built on a preserved part of the medieval castle of Mykonos. It is an old two-story house, which has been decorated with objects, costumes and furniture from 19th and 20th century town houses. Also, inside this house, you will admire important collections of textiles, rugs and dishes that are among the largest in Greece. In the Castle's house you can still see sculptures from the post-Byzantine period, cannons, anchors from Mykonian ships which participated in the naval conflicts with the Turks during the Revolution of '21.
