The Archaeological Museum of Milos is housed in a neoclassical building, the work of E. Ziller, built in 1870. It has been operating as a Museum since 1985.
Among the exhibits, however, you will also see a faithful plaster copy of the original work of the famous Venus of Milos. The real Venus of Milos is in the Louvre Museum and is estimated to have been found in 1820.
