The Archaeological Museum of Kimolos is located in Chorio, opposite the Metropolitan Church of Panagia Odigetria. It started operating on July 11, 2006, while its official opening took place on October 4, 2008.
The exhibits, most of them placed in wall and floor showcases (vitrines), are presented by section and historical period.
Impressive and worth mentioning is the crystal transparent floor on which you can walk and underneath there is a representation of an ancient burial, as it was found during its excavation.
