The "Museum of Greek History" is housed in a building that imitates the urban fortress architecture of Epirus in the 18th century, while the roofs are covered with black tiles. The surrounding area of the museum is decorated with rock gardens and cobblestones (covering functional and aesthetic purposes).
The interior of the museum is impressive with representations with constructions and wax forms of various important events and milestones in Greek History. In the museum there are a total of 36 sculptural compositions and more than 150 wax figures. The compositions draw themes from ancient Greece, Byzantium, the Revolution of 1821, the Macedonian struggle, the war of 1940, etc. (characteristic themes of the museum halls: "Philosopher", "Kougi", "Revolution", "Pindos", "Cyprus", "Lady of Rho", "Asia Minor", etc.). You will find more about the Museum on the website www.vrellis.org
