In the old town of Lefkada is located the small private Museum of Phonograph and Old Memorabilia. It was founded in 1980 by Takis Katopodi (Delimari) and is unique in its kind. The objects on display belong to the Collection of its founder, while some of them come from private donations. About 50 phonographs, lanterns, rare gramophone records, cameras of various types as well as anecdotal black and white photographs (eg of Onassis with Maria Callas) are on display. There are also stamps, banknotes, postcards, paintings, decorations as well as weapons, 1821 swords, knives etc.
