A Folklore Museum is housed in the building of the Music Club "The Lakonites", in the village of Lakonites in Paleokastritsa. The choir and then the Music Club "the Laconites" was founded around 1935. It consists of 30 choir members and mandolin players, with a repertoire of Heptanese cantades and old melodies, under the baton of maestro Rozina Anemoyiannis. The Museum Collection includes archives, old photographs, music books, traditional clothing, objects of daily use as well as papyrus boat miniatures.
