The Kapodistrias museum - Center for Kapodistrian Studies - operates in the country house of the family of the first Governor of Greece, Ioannis Kapodistrias.
It is located in Koukouritsa, in the village of Europouloi and is a donation of Maria Desylla - Kapodistria, who was worth mentioning as the Mayor of Corfu in the years 1956 - 59 and was the first Greek mayor. The house and the estate were the property of the Kapodistrias family from the time when the Governor lived.
The exhibition space exhibits personal belongings of Ioannis Kapodistrias, period furniture and household items used by the Corfu politician whose work marked the modern history of Greece.
