The Limnos Folklore Museum is located in the village of Portianou. It was established in 1995 and is a true tribute to the timeless tradition of Lemnos. Exhibits from the daily life of Limnia in the past centuries, give life to the beautiful traditional building that houses the museum, bringing to life eras that are nostalgic for locals and admired by foreigners. Household utensils, working tools, tools for daily use and traditional costumes reveal to the visitor the unique Limnian folk heritage
