It is housed in the mansion of the Gianneski family, where the Archaeological and Byzantine Collection with finds from the different historical phases of the island is also hosted. In the halls of the Museum complex, exhibits from the classical to the Byzantine era can be seen, such as Roman statue heads, Byzantine panels (13th century), capitals (6th century), early Christian lamps... etc. The Folklore Collection is made up of various exhibits that outline the daily life of the island's inhabitants. Among the exhibits, one can admire traditional clothing, embroideries, boxes with embossed decoration, sofas, bronze utensils, cradles... and everything that generally includes the interior of the Simian residence. In the pebbled courtyard are placed sculptures, columns, inscriptions... from various historical periods.
