This is the "Kallithea Spa Complex" located on the eastern side of the island. It is the work of the architect Pietro Lombardi and was built in the place where the first Italian forces landed on the island. The governor of the island during the creation of the project was Mario Lago (1924-1936). The inauguration took place on July 1, 1929. The Therma complex is entirely built on natural rocks and its architecture is reminiscent of a colonial style (pseudo-Moorish style). The hydrotherapy station consists of 3 sections: that of the central entrance (with the large circular square and the fountain), the semi-circular water distribution atrium (with the circular source) and finally the sanitary facilities section. There are also gardens, parks, a dance floor, wharf and various boating facilities that are in excellent harmony with the natural landscape. The complex is currently abandoned.
