Theater Museum

It is housed on the ground floor of the Spiritual Center of the Municipality of Athens. It was founded in 1938, but its inauguration took place in 1977. It includes photos of actors and performances, costumes, set models and posters of important performances that were milestones in the course of Greek theatre. Also, there are personal items and portraits of famous actors, directors and other important people of the theater. Seven dressing rooms have been dedicated to the same number of protagonists of the 20th century, namely Kotopoulis, Papadakis, Paxinou, Veakis, Nezer, Argyropoulos and Logothetidis. The museum also has a photo archive, programs, as well as a theater library.
