VRANAS - THE MUSEUM
The archeological museum with appropriate lighting, recently renovated (2004) with infrastructure for our fellow citizens with special needs includes interesting finds such as:
Neolithic pottery from the cave of Panos
Proto-Cycladic pottery from the cemetery at Tsepi
Objects from the Tomb of the Athenians
Ceramics of geometric to classical times from Marathon and the wider area
Portions of the Battle of Marathon trophy
Tomb reliefs of the Marathon area of the 4th century BC. and Roman times
Votive inscriptions
Relief portraits and inscriptions from the mansion of Herodes Atticus (2nd century AD)
