Built in the 17th century, it is a member of the Monastery of the Great Lavra of Mount Athos and is located in Stefani. It is said that around 1670 the noble Manolaki family from Skopelos dedicated to M. Megistis Lavras their 2nd share in Skopelos, the Monastery of the Dormition of the Virgin, known as "Agia Moni". The unique wood carvings of the Monastery date back to 1683. It celebrates on August 15.
