The Monastery of Panagia tis Kechria is built on a hill above the bay of the same name.
It is located on the northwest side of the island and is 8 km from the town of Skiathos.
It is an isolated monastery, founded in the 18th century, and is worth a visit to see the important ecclesiastical relics it houses and to enjoy the magnificent view.
