The monastery of Agios Pantos is built on the top of the verdant hill "Akoumaros", dominating over the town of Gytheio.
Here there has been a hermit life since ancient times, as can be seen from references in old documents and as evidenced by the ruins of the cemetery cells and the traditional water tank. The Monastery is surrounded by proud cypress trees, while the entrance to the Monastery is through an imposing pillar.
The small church of All Saints is single-aisled with a sloping tiled roof, ending in a low arch of the Sanctuary to the east, and this testifies that it is a building of the Turkish occupation.
The wooden iconostasis of the church, the large-scale icons and the floor come from the renovation of the year 1900. Since 1970, because the church was in a state of disrepair, some minor repairs were made.
The Monastery was female in 1947) while in 1984 the Monastery was dissolved and since then it belongs to the Monastery of Panagia tis Yatrissa and remains a member of it until today.
